Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash and dry produce.

Meanwhile, halve, core, and thinly slice @pear{1%unit}. Roughly chop @walnuts{½%cup}.

Place @flatbreads{2%unit} on a baking sheet and bake on top rack until lightly toasted ~{5%minutes}.

While flatbreads toast, heat a drizzle of @cooking oil{1%tbsp} in a #large pan{} over medium-high heat. Add sliced @red onion{1%unit} and @sugar{1%tsp}, cooking until jammy ~{8%minutes}. Add pear and cook until softened and slightly browned ~{2%minutes} per side.

In a #large bowl{}, toss @arugula{2%cup} with half the @balsamic glaze{2%tbsp}. Season with @salt{1%pinch} and @black pepper{1%pinch} to taste.

Remove flatbreads from oven and set broiler to high.

Drizzle flatbreads with as much remaining balsamic glaze as you like. Top with arugula salad, caramelized onion and pear, @blue cheese dressing{3%tbsp}, @italian cheese blend{½%cup}, walnuts, and @chili flakes{½%tsp}. Broil until cheese melts ~{2%minutes}. Cut into pieces and serve.
